Nadine Monette, Nursing
I chose Laurentian because it is a smaller school with smaller class sizes. I knew that it would be a place I could go to learn but also build rapport with my teachers and get more hands-on experience. I find that the professors at Laurentian are approachable and understand the stress of student life. My most memorable moments come from my Nursing placements and getting the chance to help people and put smiles on their faces. As for my favourite aspect of the Laurentian campus, I love the beach and trails that allow me to truly immerse myself in nature when I need to take a break to clear my mind.
