School of Social Sciences
The School of Social Sciences provides the opportunity to study questions related to the human condition through a scientific approach. We are dedicated to intellectual inquiry, encouraging students to ask critical questions and explore complex societal issues. Social sciences programs teach students how to become valued citizens and researchers, and how to gather, analyze and interpret data while building a solid foundation for making informed decisions.
The Psychology Program offers a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. Also, students may pursue undergraduate degrees in Criminology; Economics; Equity - Diversity -Human Rights; Gerontology; Psychology; and Sociology. Programs are available in both French and English, on campus and online. Students can take four-year degrees which include specializations and majors or a three-year concentration. Minors and certificates are also available.
Our professors are leading scholars who advance their fields through publications and collaborations and are committed to student success.
Professors in the School of Social Sciences also contribute to the Interdisciplinary M.A. in Relational Studies and the Ph.D. in Human Studies and Interdisciplinarity, both housed in the Faculty of Arts.
