The mission of the Women’s Centre is to educate, sensitize and create awareness of women’s issues and to work towards a more egalitarian environment for students, staff and faculty on campus.

Who can come to the centre?
Everyone is welcome at the Centre. Though the space is designed for women, femmes and their children, true progress happens when every person’s voice is valued and included.
Together, our collective experiences and insights drive the meaningful change our world needs.
About Us
The Laurentian University Women’s Centre is a safe and welcoming environment for all students to seek solutions and make informed choices. The Women’s Centre is a student-led group under the Student Equity Centre that reaches out to all students, staff and faculty to work toward the eradication of harassment, discrimination, violence, sexism, racism and other forms of discrimination and oppression against women.
