Dear students, faculty, and staff,

We are pleased to share that Laurentian University will fully reopen for all on-campus activities tomorrow, Thursday, March 19, 2026. We sincerely appreciate the patience and flexibility you have shown as we navigated the challenges of this winter storm together.

The transition to remote and online operations over the past few days was made possible by the incredible efforts of our students, faculty, and staff, and we are grateful for your commitment to maintaining our academic continuity. It has also been heartening to see the many ways in which members of our community stepped up to help one another during these difficult weather conditions.

All in-person classes, labs, and clinical activities will return to their regular schedules tomorrow, and all University offices and services will resume standard operating hours. Please check the Library’s website for its operating hours, as they may vary.

While the campus is ready for our return, we recognize that conditions in some residential neighborhoods may still vary. If you find that you are unable to physically reach the campus safely tomorrow morning, please reach out to your instructor or supervisor directly to discuss your situation.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to campus tomorrow.

Land Acknowledgment

We would like to acknowledge the Robinson-Huron Treaty of 1850.
