Dr. Absolon is from Flying Post First Nation and is an Associate Professor at Wilfrid Laurier University, who will present "The Pause in Indigenous Research: Building Courage to Re-think and Look Again". Dr. Amy Shawanda is from Wikwemikong Unceded Territory and is an Assistant Professor at McGill University, who will present “Paddling Upstream: An Anishinaabekwe Journey Towards Ethical Frameworks in Indigenous Research”.
