Eva Van Der Giessen

A native from Sudbury, I completed my Honors Bachelor Degree in German and my Bachelor Degree in Education at the University of Western.  Following a year of teaching in Sudbury, I moved to California where I had my two children and taught English, German, and journalism.  While I was teaching, I completed my Post Graduate Degrees. Once I completed my Ph. D., I moved to West Virginia, where I taught at two different universities for 13 years and then I was given the opportunity to return to Sudbury to teach in the new School of Education.  I am thrilled to be back home and love teaching at Laurentian.
