Health & Wellness Services offers primary healthcare, health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention advice, and emotional counselling

COVID-19

The Laurentian University Health Services remain available to all students, faculty and staff requiring essential primary health care. The hours of operation are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please know we implemented some changes to our clinic processes.  They are meant to improve the safety of students, staff and faculty in response to COVID-19.

Whenever possible, a phone consultation will be undertaken to determine if a virtual/telephone or in-person appointment is necessary. Reducing all avoidable in-clinic visits is recommended. Our aim is to support social distancing and minimizing contact of persons who may have COVID-19 within a health care setting. Non-essential face-to-face appointments should be postponed or converted to phone or virtual appointments.

Active (over the telephone) and Passive screening (via signage in entrance or hallway adjacent to clinic) for COVID-19 will be initiated by the Health & Wellness Staff.

Please contact us directly at (705) 673-6546 or (705) 675-1151 ext. 1067, or email us at healthservices@laurentian.ca.
