Internal Funding
The Kathryne Kril-Atkins and Michael R. Atkins Innovation Fellowship offers financial support to a Laurentian University faculty member interested in supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and the development of critical skills in university highly qualified personnel (HQP). The fellowship is created through an endowment from Kathryne Kril-Atkins and Michael R. Atkins with the goal of enabling faculty to support the growth of an entrepreneurial culture at Laurentian University and create a positive impact on society (i.e. economic, social, health, environmental, etc.).
The Fellowship will provide financial support to a project that enhances the support offered by The Foundry, Laurentian University’s dedicated entrepreneurship programming, housed within the Jim Fielding Innovation and Commercialization Space. The Fellowship is valued at $20,000 and will be awarded to a full-time or tenure-track faculty member in support of a one-year project that enables innovation-related activities.
The deadline to apply is September 13, 2024, at 4 p.m. Click here for details on how to apply.
