About the Re-U Free Store

The Re-U Free Store is Laurentian University’s very own thrift store. We provide free, gently used items to all members of the Laurentian community. Everything in the store is generously donated.

How to Use the Free Store

  1. Visit during our store hours.
     
  2. Browse freely and take what you need.
     
  3. Clothing: no limit (unless otherwise posted).
     
  4. Other items: 5 items per day.

Events + Pop-Ups

The Re-U Free Store hosts workshops and activities
throughout the year. Watch for our pop-up stands across
campus – we might bring the Free Store to you!

Get Involved

Volunteers are always welcome! Drop in during store
hours or email us at freestore@laurentian.ca to help with
sorting, organizing, and shelving items.

Since our opening in 2024, the Free Store has welcomed over 3,060 visits and received more than 500 donations.


Beyond Laurentian, wwe’re proud to partner with groups like Closet Share, Youth Wellness Hub, Kirkwood Medical, and the Infant Food Bank.
