Learning Organizations

This course examines the pressures on modern organizations to be in a constant adaptive state to support and encourage innovation, and yet have a high performance company. Though an action learning framework, students will discuss and research the topic areas, identify and study a contemporary company that is a high-performance learning organization (HPLO), and will develop a plan to increase a specific company's learning and adaptability. Differences in culture and diversity will be considered in designing a HPLO plan. 3 credits. Online and on campus delivery. Prerequisite: Completion of the Foundations 5000 level courses . Students cannot retain credits for both COMM 5402 and MGMT 5211.
