Mathematics (Junior/ (intermediate)

This course explores the latest methods for teaching mathematics in the elementary school. Emphasis is placed on the use of materials, relating mathematics to the rest of the curriculum, as well as developmental stages of students. Through the study of the strands in the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum, students develop appropriate instructional strategies including various methods for assessments and evaluations.
