Couriers

Laurentian University departments may ship parcels through Canada Post or Purolator, depending on service needs and delivery timelines. For general mailing or courier services, either provider may be used. However, if your shipment requires freight services or involves oversized or specialized items, please contact the Office of Procurement and Contracts (purchasing@laurentian.ca)for assistance prior to arranging the shipment.

Purolator User Guide
  • Contact your department’s administrative assistant to obtain access to the departmental Purolator account.
  • If your department does not have an existing account, you may create a new account.
  • Email purchasing@laurentian.ca to request a Customer ID and ensure it is added to your Purolator profile.
    • This unique ID ensures Purolator invoices Laurentian University correctly and allocates charges to the appropriate budget.
  • Pay fees using with a Procurement Card.
