Responsibilities
Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Information Technology, the overall purpose of Manager of ERP and Web/Mobile Development at Laurentian University is to manage and enhance the university’s enterprise resource planning systems and related web/mobile technologies. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and continuous improvement of the ERP system, leading the design and deployment of web and mobile applications, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Additionally, he focuses on technology innovation and strategic growth, collaborating with various departments and external vendors to align IT initiatives with the university’s objective.
ERP Management and Enhancement
- Oversees maintenance, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Colleague ERP system
- Supports areas including:

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a preference for a master’s degree
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP (Poject Management Professional)
- Agile, or specific ERP certifications (e.g., Ellucian Colleague) are advantageous especially in environments that follow Scrum methodologies and operate in sprint-based development cycles.
- Ability to work fluently (verbal and written) in both official languages, French and English, is required.

The official University hours of operation shall be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, during, and including, the months from September to April, and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday through Friday during and including May to August., amounting to thirty-three and three-quarter (33.75) hours per week.
