Just a short walk from your classes and facilities, our dorms and apartment-style residences offer all of the amenities of home. Laurentian Residence has five buildings, each with their own personality. Each building is different in size, layout, shape, and furnishings. Even within the same complex, your room may not look exactly like the room of fellow residents. That being said, you’ll have the opportunity to give it your own flare - that’s part of the beauty of living independently!

When you live in residence, you’ll also get access to computer labs and photocopiers, a convenience store, an exercise room, free Wi-Fi, a games room, a theatre room, a doctor’s office, laundry facilities, study lounges, vending machines, an ATM, secured buildings with round the clock staff and 24/7 security, and a jam-packed calendar of residence activities!

Dorm Life

Our University College Residence offers traditional dorm-style living, where you’ll be paired with a roommate and share common areas with other students on your floor.

Each floor includes:

A common kitchen area
A common living and dining room area
Public bathrooms

Apartment Life

Our Single Student Residence, East Residence, and West Residence buildings offer shared apartment living with other students. Most rooms in apartments are double rooms, where you’ll be paired with a roommate. If you’re an upper-year student, you have the option to enjoy your own private space in the Mature Student Residence, which offers single-bedroom apartments.

Apartments include:
