French as a second language
Microcredential
Introduction
The Language Learning Center now offers French as a Second Language courses. These new courses provide flexible options for students, staff, and members of the general community so they can learn French at their own pace.
French as a Second Language
These courses are part of a comprehensive language-learning initiative based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), specifically designed to guide learners from the beginner level (A1) through the upper-intermediate (B2) and advanced (C1-C2) levels in French. Through a communicative approach and instruction provided by experienced instructors, the program aims to equip students with practical French language skills and the confidence needed to communicate effectively in everyday life, in their studies, and in the workplace.
Registrations for the French as a Second Language courses will open in the fall of 2026.
