Indigenous Youth Explore STEM, Mining, Clean Energy and Future Careers During OYEP Science Week at Laurentian University
Twenty-one Indigenous youth commonly referred as Rangers, from First Nation communities across Ontario explored science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), mining, environmental stewardship, skilled trades, and clean energy during the Outland Youth Employment Program (OYEP) Science Week, hosted by the Goodman School of Mines at Laurentian University from July 27–30, 2026.
