Welcome to the Faculty of Health
We are proud of our Faculty of Health, which comprises over 45 different programs, ranging from undergraduate to the doctoral level. Many of our programs are offered in both official languages. They are generally designed to provide aspiring students with a wealth of knowledge and working experience through placements of differing durations. They include Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work, Indigenous Relations, Human Kinetics, Speech-Language Pathology, Gerontology and Interdisciplinary Rural and Northern Health. Our interdisciplinary approach focuses on communities in Northern Ontario and abroad. Clinical placements have been done far and wide from Iqaluit to Ghana, Mongolia and Kenya.
Our accredited programs are proud to deliver quality experiences to smaller size classes with access to Professors rather than graduate students. Students go on to become professionals in health care. They are readily sought by employers who recognize the difference between those having been trained in big Universities and those having been lead in the smaller institutions. The adventure is yours to discover. Good luck and I encourage you to choose well.
