Biography

Ahlam Maremi is an Assistant Professor of Mining Engineering at Laurentian University's School of Engineering and Computer Sciences, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. She holds a Bachelor and Master degrees in Mining Engineering from University of Tripoli - Libya and a PhD in Mining Engineering from Laurentian University. Ahlam has extensive research and industrial experience from Libya and Canada in mine design and planning, and feasibility Studies. She conducts research in long term optimization, integrated mine planning and waste management optimization and uncertainty-based optimization problems.
