You can earn a Goodman School of Mines Project Management Certificate by taking our training! By completing the certificate you will have aquired enough PDU’s (Professional Development Units) to write your PMP Exam with the Project Management Institute and acquire your PMP accreditation.

In order to obtain the Goodman School of Mines Project Management Certificate, you must take the mandatory class titled Project Management Essentials. This course will run once or twice every year.

Step 2: Choose 7 days of additional courses

You must also choose and complete 7 days of additional Project Management Training. Select from the list of elective courses and take them as they become available. Alternatively, you can choose from 4 different certificate bundles of your liking.

Step 3: Get your certificate!

Once you have completed Project Management Essentials and 7 days of additional courses for a total of 10 days of training you will obtain your Goodman School of Mines Project Management Certificate.

COURSE REGISTRATION

This course will be delivered via a series of six learning modules, each consisting of a self-directed e-learning component followed by a two-hour instructor-led online session. The instructor-led sessions will be from 8:30am to 10:30am Eastern time each day. Participants will be expected to complete the self-directed elearning modules in between the instructor-led sessions. Full access details will be provided closer to the start date for those who are registered.

Additional Information

Canada-Ontario Job Grant

The Canada-Ontario Job Grant can offset training costs to a maximum of $10,000 – $15,000 per employee.

Windmill loan

Receive up to $15,000 to cover costs related to achieving career goals. Low income applicants are welcome and no Canadian credit history is required. To be eligible for a Windmill loan, you must be internationally trained with status as a Permanent Resident, Provincial Nominee, Canadian Citizen, Protected Person or Convention Refugee.
