Study Your Way

Laurentian Online offers multiple ways to study Sociology at the undergraduate level. You could complete any of the following:

  • Concentration: Sociology will be your main area of study, accounting for 36 credits of the 90 credits required to graduate with a 3-year degree.
  • Minor: Sociology will be an additional component to your studies, worth 24 credits. Available in both English and French!
  • Certificate in Social Research Methods: Sociology will be an additional component to your studies, accounting for 30 credits. This can be completed on its own, or alongside a degree.
  • Certificate in Family Life Studies and Human Sexuality: Sociology will be an additional component to your studies, accounting for 30 credits. This can be completed on its own, or alongside a degree.
