About Louis-Pierre

Raised in Northern Ontario, Louis-Pierre has several years of experience in architecture in Canada, France, and Switzerland. Since 2022, he has worked as a sessional instructor and now as an assistant professor and coordinator of the Archi·North architecture summer camp at the McEwen School of Architecture in Sudbury. As a Luso-Canadian of Azorean descent, his research focuses on the Azores, particularly on the reuse of abandoned buildings. Passionate about research related to culture, materials, reuse, and history, Louis-Pierre seeks to leverage his research experience in academia and promote the teaching of architecture in communities across Northern Ontario and in Canada’s Francophone communities.
