Brent Lievers

Dr Lievers obtained his PhD in mechanical engineering in 2009 from Queen's University. He was hired by Laurentian University in August 2012 for a teaching-only Master Lecturer position (or as it was called at the time a Permanent Sessional Lecturer). After two years, he was able to switch to a tenure-track faculty position and now holds the rank of Associate Professor.

When he is not writing about himself in the third-person, Dr. Lievers enjoys the outdoors, amassing stringed instruments, as well as creating and consuming baked goods.
