Welcome to the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Architecture web pages. My name is Dr. Eric Gauthier, and I am the Associate Dean of the Faculty, the coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Science program, and a Professor of Biochemistry. As Associate Dean, I work closely with our students, faculty, and staff to support academic quality, curriculum development, and the day-to-day experience of navigating a degree at Laurentian.

Whether you're just starting out and trying to make sense of your program requirements, weighing your options within Interdisciplinary Science, or running into a snag partway through your degree, my door is open. It is my belief that some of the most interesting science happens where disciplines meet — which is exactly what the Interdisciplinary Science program is built to do.

My goal as Associate Dean is to make sure every student in our Faculty has the support they need to succeed, both in their studies and in preparing for whatever comes after graduation.
