Canada's Criminal Justice System has a history of profiling minority populations and targeting marginalized groups based on their racial, ethnocultural, or religious identity. This course looks at how Canada's relationships with Indigenous peoples and different immigrant and racialized groups are reflected in the policies and practices of its various correctional institutions from the RCMP and CSIS to halfway houses and border patrols.
