Introduction to Ergonomics

This course is designed to give students a background in the theory and practice of ergonomics. Students will learn about the sciences that contribute to ergonomics and how they are applied in various situations to determine human capabilities and limitations. Students will also gain an understanding of the application or ergonomic principles in several areas including workspace design, material handling, musculoskeletal injury prevention and control and display design.
