Risk Management in Physical Education, Sport and Recreation

This course is designed to give students an understanding of risk management and the principles of law as it relates to physical education, sport and recreation. Litigation as it affects participants, coaches, teachers, administrators, officials, physicians, fans, equipment manufacturers, and operators of sports facilities is discussed, incorporating case studies with legal theory.
