Advanced Calculus

This course begins with a review of vectors, lines and planes. This is followed by a study of scalar functions of several variables including such topics as multiple integration, Jacobians, gradient and applications to curves, surfaces and volumes. Vector functions are studied with particular attention given to divergence, curl, the theorems of Green, Gauss and Stokes, and applications. PREREQ: MATH 1037 and 1057. (lec 3) cr 3.
