Discrete Mathematics I

Topics include elementary logic and circuits, set theory and functions, mathematical induction, combinatorics, binomial theorem, the solution of elementary recurrence relations, and introduction to probability theory. PREREQ: 2 grade 12 4U mathematics (minimum 60%) or equivalent. For prerequisite purposes, MATH 1911 and MATH 1912 are considered equivalent to their associated 4U courses.
