International Health Education

This course explores the determinants and challenges to population health at the international level. The current roles of international organizations and non-governmental organizations related to international health promotion, sport, and development will be examined. At the individual student level, the course will also aim to better prepare students for working safely and effectively in a developing country. (3 cr) Students may not retain credit for both INTE 3546E and PHED 3546E.
