The thesis topic will be selected by the student after consultation with the program council. Under the supervision of a faculty member the student will prepare and submit a written thesis proposal, which will include: 1. a statement of objectives 2. a tentative outline 3. a preliminary bibliography Upon approval of the proposal by the program council, the student will complete the thesis. cr 9
