This course introduces students to HR planning in organizations and provides a framework for understanding how organizations determine human resource needs and plan to ensure that the organization has the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to be effective, efficient and successful. Topics covered include understanding organizational strategy and how HR aligns with it, forecasting HR needs, identifying HR supply, implementing succession and change management, and assessment.
