Industrial Fluid Mechanics

This course focuses on important issues, arising in industrial fluid systems, such as flow separation for internal and external flows, flow-induced vibrations, transient phenomena in fluid systems, pressure waves in duct flows, water hammering in pipes and cavitation. The course also covers flow measurement in industrial fluid mechanics and fluid mechanics of dust and particulates in air. (lec 3) cr 3.
