Composite Materials
Course code: ENGR-5536EL
This course covers various concepts related to composite materials, including manufacturing, life cycle analysis, testing, properties, design, and analysis of fibre-reinforced composite structures. Also included are failure criteria, environmental effects, processing issues such as reinforcement properties, resin properties, cure kinetics, resin flow, tool-part interaction, and nanocomposites. The theoretical knowledge is then put into practice by designing and analyzing varoius composite structures. (lec 3) cr 3.
