This course addresses the multidisciplinary field of microfluidics, with topics chosen from a variety of areas. Fundamental concepts, theoretical analysis, numerical simulations, experimental measurements, design, and fabrication technologies will be discussed. Engineering applications of microfluidic systems will be reviewed, and recent research advances and active topics will also be introduced. (lec 3) cr 3. PREREQ: Students should have taken an introductory course in Fluid Mechanics.
