This course introduces the students to the concepts of general design consideration, process design development, flowsheet synthesis and development, use of software in process design, optimum design and design strategies, materials and fabrication selection, design and costs of materials-handling equipment, design and cost of reactors, heat transfer equipments and separation equipments.
