Introduction to Polymers

This course introduces students to the basic concepts of polymer chemistry. Topics include polymer chains, bulk polymers and their mechanical behaviour, viscosity, elasticity, viscoelasticity, glassy and crystalline states, important classes of polymers and polymerization reactions, techniques of polymerization, and polymers with microstructures.
