Studies in Creative Writing

This course enables students to work in one genre exclusively, with a view to producing a short piece of publishable or near-publishable quality. Discussion of selected published writing in the chosen genre will be combined with peer editing sessions. Established writers from within or beyond the university community may be invited to lecture and to assess student manuscripts. Prerequisite: 18 university credits. ENGL 1717 strongly recommended.
