Money and Banking

The course covers the basic principles of "money and banking" by focusing on the practice followed by commercial banks to create money in modern economies. It also studies the role played by Central Banks and governments in the creation of money and the design of payments systems and monetary policies in countries such as Canada, the United States and England.
