This course presents an introduction to advanced level Internet of Things (IoT). Topics include the overview and structure of IoT systems, design principles and connectivity requirements, IoT gateways, wireless sensor networks (WSN), backend modules, wireless network characteristics, WiFi (IEEE 802.11 Wireless LANs), mobility management, mobile IP, hands-on tools (e.g., Multimedia/IoT Autodesk (Tinkercad)).
