Cloud Computing

This course is designed to provide the basic concepts of cloud computing and introduces the technologies behind cloud computing. The course covers leading cloud computing paradigms and programming platforms (e.g., EC2, Azure, App Engine). The course addresses a variety of concepts in the areas of service composition and orchestration. Topics include cloud storage, virtualization standards, compute engines, cloud APIs, service orchestration, security considerations, networking services and emerging technologies. (Lec 3) cr 3.
