Microaggressions—often subtle and unintentional—can have significant impacts on individuals and the broader learning and working environment. This interactive session invites participants to reflect on how everyday bias can show up in academic, professional, and social spaces, and to develop tools for fostering equity and inclusion.

By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Define and recognize various forms of microaggressions and unconscious bias
  • Explore their cumulative impacts on individuals and communities
  • Practice respectful and effective ways to respond to bias
  • Commit to actions that support a more inclusive campus environment
