Laurentian Free Store

Welcome To the Free Store

The Laurentian Re-U Free Store is a Student Success operation on the Laurentian Campus that
encapsulates the love and care that Laurentian puts into its community. Any student and staff
from Laurentian (and the surrounding community) can visit the Re-U store to select any items
they may need for their journey at Laurentian. The store operates on donations from the
community and works with many established organizations in and around the Sudbury Area.

Mission Statement

RéU and its team support Laurentian students and families in need with access to resources, clothing and household items at no cost. Our free store, through donations and contributions of Laurentian community members, aims to encourage resiliency and self-sufficiency through workshops, resource referrals and assistance with basic needs.

What is it?

Officially opening in January 2025, the Free Store has been a hub for used, new, and improved items for many of the people at Laurentian. seen an incredible response with donations and a steady stream of visitors from the Laurentian Community. Donations have been distributed throughout the store for the community to utilize and Re-Use. Donations are the heart of the store's functionality. The Free Store offers a diverse selection of items, ranging from kitchenware, children's clothing, school supplies, books, and more.

Beyond a Store

The Free Store is also a shared space designed to create connections. We strive to break down the barriers between Students and Professionals. Encouraging support, collaboration, and a welcoming environment!
