Privacy and Disclosure of Personal Information
Under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA), Laurentian University must provide a Notice of Collection to individuals when collecting personal information (PI) either directly from the person to whom the information relates, or indirectly from another source.
Laurentian University’s General Notice of Collection provides notice to students and employees about the classes or types of PI the University is most likely to collect, and some of the most likely reasons (purposes) for that collection.
