The Orientation Weeks are your chance to dive into university life, meet new friends, and discover all that campus has to offer. They are packed with events and activities that will help you settle in, learn the ropes, and most importantly, have a blast! From campus tours to the student clubs and service fairs, there’s something for everyone.

Events By Day

  • Faculty of Arts Orientation Session
    • TIME: 3 pm to 4 pm
    • LOCATION: Online only

The Faculty of Arts would like to welcome all current and arriving students to meet with the dean and vice-dean of the school to discuss your programs and making sure you feel comfortable before the start of a new semester.

  • Master’s in Computational Sciences Orientation Session 

Master’s students from Computer Science are invited to attend an introductory information session on the programs.

Master’s students from the School of Engineering are invited to attend an introductory information session on the programs.

An introductory information session to welcome International students and provide general information on the campus and its services.

 

International students are invited to discover the many academic and support services available to students at Laurentian and within the Greater Sudbury community.

A conversation space that welcomes all students to share with others about their culture and identity. The café will open discussion on topics centred around sharing, cultural exchange, anti-discrimination, and overall cultural learning. The purpose of the session would be to build bridges and educate ourselves on the beauty of culture all around.

 

Students are invited to discover the many academic and support services available at Laurentian. Representatives from Laurentian’s service departments will be on-hand to answer questions and provide information.

 

Graduate students are invited to join us for an informative session on the opportunities and services available to our graduate students on campus and to have questions answered by our knowledgeable team. Coffee and snacks will be provided. We look forward to meeting you!
