Behaviour and the Electromagnetic Chemical Basis of Behaviour

This course analyses data and theories concerned with the electric, magnetic, and chemical correlates of behaviour and brain function. Two topics are centrally considered: the physical mechanisms of memory and learning, and the electromagnetic and chemical features of thoughts and consciousness. The multifaceted aspects of behaviour, physiology, and biochemistry are examined with respect to measurable electrical and magnetic processes of living organisms. . PREREQ: NSCI/PSYC 3507. (lec 3) cr 3. Students cannot retain credit for both NSCI 4707 and PSYC 4707.
