Dr. Kamran Eshghi

Research Fellow for the Faculty of Management

Dr. Kamran Eshghi is an Associate Professor in the School of Sports Administration within the Faculty of Management. His primary research explores the impact of marketing channel conflict on governance efficiency and performance outcomes, shedding light on how firms can optimize their strategic relationships and operations.

Beyond this, Dr. Eshghi’s broader research examines how firms’ strategic actions and investments influence firm performance and shareholder value, identifying the conditions under which these strategies yield the most beneficial outcomes. His work provides valuable insights into corporate decision-making, competitive dynamics, and strategic resource allocation.

Dr. Eshghi employs a diverse set of quantitative methodologies and statistical techniques in his research, including meta-analysis, event studies, panel data analysis, and survival analysis, ensuring robust and data-driven conclusions. His  research has been supported by grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), where he has served as a Principal Investigator, further underscoring the significance of his contributions to the field. His work is highly relevant to both academics and practitioners, particularly those interested in marketing strategy, marketing channels, and financial performance.
