Micro-Course Offerings:

This series of courses supports employees, supervisors, business owners and students as they learn how to design surveys and questions that generate reliable data.

Surveys are created for many different reasons – to see what people think about an individual (e.g. a political candidate) or a product (e.g. a new frozen food), or to describe people in terms of their characteristics (e.g., are they cooperative, friendly, or creative? Are they good at mathematics or language?). If you have created a survey and you plan to use it, you need to be sure that it is a good, solid survey. If a survey does not live up to the criteria discussed in this course, you will be doing more harm than good by using it.
