Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at Laurentian University has been pivotal in both my professional and personal development. The program focuses on open-ended and project-based learning, both in and out of the classroom (i.e. SAE Baja, capstone design project), that lead to having a very competitive, hands-on skill set upon graduation. Being able to connect with the faculty on a personal and academic level allowed me to gain more than just grades from my experience. I would highly recommend Laurentian’s engineering program for students that really want to stand out in the job market with hands-on, real-world problem-solving skills.
