Tango Tower
What is a challenge course?
A challenge course is basically an obstacle course for adults that doesn't only challenge the team physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Elements, both high and low, challenge course the group in different ways and require the team to work together in order to reach a goal. A facilitator will choose the elements that are most appropriate for the group. Our challenge course requires participants to climb at heights, but we believe that every participant should climb to their top, whether this is 5 feet or 50 feet.
Specifications:
The Tango Tower is 50 feet high x 100 feet long and is composed of 7 high rope elements and 13 low rope elements. We use a friction device as a dynamic belay system which means that you are always being belayed by other participants or by facilitators.
Outcomes:
It has been proven that participating in a challenge course session can improve interpersonal skills such as teamwork and group dynamics. It has also proven to improve interpersonal skills such as communication, self-efficacy, trust and leadership.
Safety:
