Research

My research focuses on the role of nurses in caring for patients at the end of life. I am currently completing doctoral studies related to quality of life for hospitalized patients at the end-of-life. More specifically, my work will evaluate the factors that influence nurses' participation in advance care planning in the hospital setting by employing ethnographic methodology.
